A Bone Of Him Shall Not Be Broken

Before reading any of my blog posts it is important to have already seen The Revelation Of Jesus Christ Documentary. Without this foundation of knowledge, you will not be able to understand the concepts I will be explaining in these teachings.

This post will provide additional reasoning as to why the crucifixion itself must be a spiritual account. In John 19 it gives the record of my crucifixion, which says,

16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

Now the part I want to focus on comes later on in the chapter, and it states,

36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

This scripture would be impossible to fulfill if you believed in a physical crucifixion. The reason I say this is because in order to be physically crucified, you would need to literally put a nail through my physical hands and my physical feet. Each one of your hands contains 27 bones within it, and there is no place to put a nail through the hand without breaking a bone in the process. The same is true of the feet, which have 26 bones in each.

It is further evident that this concept is spiritual when reading Colossians 2 which says,

13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

The ordinances that are nailed to my cross were not physically put on wood with a hammer and nail. It is a representation of bearing the marks of the law and triumphing over it, by fulfilling the ordinances through my spiritual sacrifice. As we see in Galatians 6,

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

If Paul too can bear these marks, then it is simply a spiritual representation of what occurs from within when you overcome the world through faith.

There is further spiritual representations of nails and marks throughout the bible, as we see in Isaiah 22,

22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.

24 And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.

Here we can see the nail is representing a person that is secured and cannot be moved. Also the nail is symbolic of being able to hang something upon it, and in this case, glory is being hung upon it like a picture frame. For me, the purpose of having spiritual nails in my hands and feet means that they are securely bound to my cross which is my body represented in the word of God. When the bible says to ‘submit thyself to her hands’ in Genesis 16, it means you are putting your life into the hands of another. For me, I am securing my life to God’s word so that my decisions (the work of my hands) and my direction (the paths of my feet) will be nailed to the cross that I bear, which is being Jesus, the Christ of God.

This also explains why Leviticus 19 says,

19 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

These verses are not speaking about making physical cuttings or printing physical marks. It is talking about bearing stripes (lashings, whippings) and marks (securing yourself) to another god, or a god you invent in your own mind, known as your “vain imaginations”. Before me, this is what everyone was doing in their heart, bearing the mark of another Jesus.
